According to the Unites States Department of Justice, each day 160,000 kids skip school due to the fear of being bullied.  Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. The following site, helps parents understand the types of bullying our teens and children can or are facing today.

Talking about this issue is critical to fixing it.

In a recent study conducted with kids across America who attend both public and private high schools, it was found that more than half reported being victims of bullying. What’s more disturbing is that more times than not, these kids felt they had no one to talk to about what was happening in their lives.
