Daniel J. Levy, MD, FAAP

Daniel J. Levy. M.D., FAAP. Dr. Levy is the founder of Child & Teen Wellness Center. He was educated at the University of Rochester, receiving both bachelors and medical degrees. His pediatric training was at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also served as Chief Resident in the affiliated program at Sinai Hospital. Dr. Levy has served in a wide range of capacities with the American Academy of Pediatrics, local organizations devoted to child welfare, and as correspondent for ABC New and Maryland Public Television. He has written widely in both professional and lay publications, and served on the editorial board of a major pediatric publication. Dr. Levy has won a number of professional awards and is on the faculty of the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins and Sinai Hospitals. Most importantly, he is a father, grandfather and husband of wife, Nancy.
Adriane Hanelt

Adriane Hanelt, CPNP

Adriane Hanelt is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is originally from Brazil and speaks Portuguese and Spanish. She received her BSN from University of Maryland and her MSN from the Catholic University of America in D.C. Taking care of children has always been her passion and a part of her professional and personal life. She lives in Ellicott City, MD with her husband and four children. She enjoys skiing, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with family.

Adriane Hanelt

Shannon West, MD, FAAP

Shannon West, M.D. graduated from Meharry Medical College in 1998 and completed her residency at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland in 2001. She has over 21 years of experience as a pediatrician in Anne Arundel County and has developed special interests in developmental concerns, special education advocacy, and ADHD. Dr. West is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr West lives in Baltimore County where she is raising her son. 

Rebeca Tholen, DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC

Dr. Rebeca Tholen is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Maryland in 2019. She was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Prior to joining our practice, she has worked at University of Maryland Family & Community Medicine, Transplant Nephrology and Immediate Care. She has experience caring for families across the lifespan, as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions. She has a special interest in pediatrics, integrative medicine and wellness. She is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She lives in Howard County with her husband and dog-son, Milo. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, yoga, biking and spending time with family.
Liz Arias

Liz Arias, MPAS, PA-C

Liz Arias, MPAS, PA-C is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant. She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Towson University in August 2022. Before joining the team at CTWC, she gained valuable experience at a pediatric urgent care center. Liz is a strong proponent of parent education to allow parents to navigate normal childhood milestones and common illnesses with minimal stress. She is a native Spanish speaker having been born and raised in Baltimore after her parents emigrated from the Dominican Republic. She currently lives in Baltimore County with her husband and their 9-year-old Morkie named Osito. Liz enjoys traveling and watching Netflix with her husband, dancing bachata while cooking, reading, and any activity that includes her family.

Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Sunday(Telemedicine): 9:00am – 11:00am

Weekend hours are for URGENT sick visits only. Appointments must be made that morning.
