Daniel J. Levy. M.D., FAAP. Dr. Levy is the founder of Child & Teen Wellness Center. He was educated at the University of Rochester, receiving both bachelors and medical degrees. His pediatric training was at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also served as Chief Resident in the affiliated program at Sinai Hospital. Dr. Levy has served in a wide range of capacities with the American Academy of Pediatrics, local organizations devoted to child welfare, and as correspondent for ABC New and Maryland Public Television. He has written widely in both professional and lay publications, and serves on the editorial board of a major pediatric publication. Dr. Levy has won a number of professional awards and is on the faculty of the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins and Sinai hospitals. Most importantly, he is a father, grandfather and husband of wife, Nancy.
Ashley L. Block, M.D., FAAP. Dr. Block has been in practice with Dr. Levy since 1998 . She is a graduate of University of Georgia, in speech language pathology, attended a master's program at Vanderbilt University and obtained her medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College. She received her pediatric training at St Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia. "Dr. Ashley" is the mother of two energetic children and wife to husband, Adam.
KeAndra Jones, MSN, CRNP is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. As an undergraduate, she obtained her BA in Child Development from Tufts University and her BS in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (JHUSON). She went on to complete the graduate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at Hopkins and received her MS in Nursing. Before joining our team, KeAndra practiced as a Nurse Practitioner at a private practice and emergency department. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and live music/concerts.
Amy LaCava, MSN, CRNP is the newest provider to join our medical staff. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with 10 years experience in pediatric nursing. She earned her Masters degree at The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Amy is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners participating in the Developmental Behavioral and Mental Health special interest group. Outside of her nursing role, Amy has devoted herself to assisting children with special needs and is the secretary of Alice's Dream Foundation. Amy's hobbies include photography, running, and studying the role of medicine throughout history. She is very excited to join the Child & Teen Wellness Center and looks forward to caring for your children.
