Daniel J. Levy. M.D., FAAP. Dr. Levy is the founder of Child & Teen Wellness Center. He was educated at the University of Rochester, receiving both bachelors and medical degrees. His pediatric training was at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also served as Chief Resident in the affiliated program at Sinai Hospital. Dr. Levy has served in a wide range of capacities with the American Academy of Pediatrics, local organizations devoted to child welfare, and as correspondent for ABC New and Maryland Public Television. He has written widely in both professional and lay publications, and serves on the editorial board of a major pediatric publication. Dr. Levy has won a number of professional awards and is on the faculty of the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins and Sinai hospitals. Most importantly, he is a father, grandfather and husband of wife, Nancy.
KeAndra Jones, MSN, CRNP is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. As an undergraduate, she obtained her BA in Child Development from Tufts University and her BS in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (JHUSON). She went on to complete the graduate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at Hopkins and received her MS in Nursing. Before joining our team, KeAndra practiced as a Nurse Practitioner at a private practice and emergency department. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and live music/concerts.
Amy LaCava, MSN, CRNP joined the Child & Teen Wellness Center with 10 years experience in pediatric nursing. Amy is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who earned her Masters degree at The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners participating in the Developmental Behavioral and Mental Health special interest group. Outside of her nursing role, Amy has devoted herself to assisting children with special needs and is the secretary of Alice's Dream Foundation. Amy's hobbies include photography, running, and studying the role of medicine throughout history. She is very excited to join the Child & Teen Wellness Center and looks forward to caring for your children.
Charlotte S. Chudy, MSN, CRNP is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont in Psychology where she was on the sailing team. She attended Johns Hopkins School of Nursing for both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing. While completing her master’s degree, she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys traveling, working out, sailing and spending time with her husband and family.
Samantha Krench, MSN, CRNP is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with eight years of pediatric nursing experience, both in Pediatric Oncology and Pediatric Intensive Care. As a pediatric nurse, she has worked at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, St. David’s Children’s Hospital (Austin, TX), and Children’s National Medical Center (Washington D.C.). Samantha first received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at The University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. She then went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the University of Texas at Austin. Samantha is a Type 1 Diabetic, which has created a personal interest in Diabetes education/awareness. Outside of the clinical role, Samantha enjoys yoga, cooking, attending live music events, and spending time with her family in D.C.
